A Street and B Street

In spring and summer 2025, we engaged residents to understand needs and priorities along A Street and B Street. Informed by this input and a safety analysis, we developed three design alternatives for each corridor.

What we heard from you:

Better access for bikes & transit
Safer crossings for children & seniors
Reduce traffic speeds

Safety Improvements — A Street

A Street had over 100 collisions between 2019 and 2024, with 5 resulting in serious injuries and 2 fatalities. Drivers have been recorded going 80 mph on this 25-30 mph street.

Below are all of the intersection and corridor improvements proposed for A Street. This survey splits A Street east and west of Meekland Ave.
